Norton (Elliot) Park is dedicated.

It is located at 295 Tremont Street. As part of the dedication ceremony, Carol Channing sings a song entitled “Hello, Elliot” written by Jerry Herman, in tribute to the long-time Boston Herald theater critic for whom the park is named.
